Crystal Palace - Selhurst Park Pitch Renewal

In 2025, Crystal Palace Football Club appointed OBI Sports to deliver the complete renewal of the Selhurst Park stadium pitch, a project designed to future-proof the playing surface and align it with the club’s ongoing stadium development plans.

The project team fully removed the existing root zones and completely repositioned the pitch, extending it to accommodate any future alterations to the stadium structure.

OBI led the design procurement and contractor appointment within just two weeks, with physical works completed in four weeks. This included the re-modification of on-site base levels to rectify legacy installation issues. The new hybrid system features tighter stitch spacing, a specification pioneered and overseen by OBI to enhance surface stability and performance.
