Project

Following the acquisition of the club by American Consortium, Shelby Companies Ltd., the club endured several years of strict financial management, which led to the deterioration of the pitches and department resources.


OBI were appointed by the club to conduct an assessment of the facilities and pitches across St Andrews Stadium, Wast Hills Academy and EPIC First Team Training Ground.





Deliverables


  • Assess 14 pitches to determine conditions and limitations.

  • Assess department staffing, resourcing and structure.

  • Review machinery numbers and condition.

  • Develop a phased improvement plan covering pitch constructions, departmental staffing and machinery procurement.

  • Produce budgets aligned with staged improvements to allow the club to sign off procurements in phases.


Delivered

OBI were retained to oversee and implement the plan and, within six months, completed the upgrade of seven pitches, recruitment of staff and procured over £400K of machinery.
