Celtic FC - Celtic Park Stitched Hybrid Pitch Renewal

Celtic Football Club appointed OBI Sports to undertake the complete renewal of the Celtic Park stadium pitch in 2025.

This included the complete removal of all root zones and the repositioning of the pitch with extensions to accommodate any future stadium alterations.

The procurement and appointment of the contractor for the project design were completed during the winter of 2025. The subsequent physical refurbishment began immediately afterwards and was completed within four weeks.

This included the re-modification of on-site base levels to rectify previous installations. The installation also involved the pioneers' tighter hybrid stitch spacing as a world first by OBI Sports.
